IIMSTC – University & Institutional Associations

The International Institute of Medical Science & Technology Council (IIMSTC) has developed an expanding network of academic and institutional associations across India. Through Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), academic partnerships, training collaborations and Centers of Excellence, IIMSTC works with universities, colleges and schools to promote experiential learning, innovation, international exposure, skill development, research and future-ready education.

IIMSTC’s publicly documented university-association network includes institutions such as Visvesvaraya Technological University, North East Frontier Technical University, Garden City University, East West Group of Institutions and St. Peter’s Medical University & Research Center.

1. Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Karnataka

Academic & Knowledge Partnership

IIMSTC is associated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) through a five-year Knowledge and Training Partnership commencing June 25, 2024. The collaboration focuses on innovative training and internship opportunities for students across India. Through initiatives such as The Edge Program, students are provided opportunities for experiential learning, international exposure, mentorship, entrepreneurship and development of industry-ready skills. IIMSTC and VTU have also jointly conducted programmes focused on youth skill development and international internships.

2. NITTE (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru

Academic & Centre of Excellence Association

IIMSTC is associated with NITTE (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru, as part of its expanding academic ecosystem. The association provides a platform for collaboration in education, innovation, technology, healthcare and future-oriented learning initiatives. The partnership is particularly relevant to IIMSTC’s proposed technology and innovation initiatives, including the development of Center of Excellence frameworks and emerging-technology programmes.

NITTE operates a multidisciplinary academic ecosystem covering health sciences, engineering, research and other professional disciplines.

3. NITTE – Bengaluru

Technology & Academic Collaboration

IIMSTC’s association with the NITTE academic ecosystem in Bengaluru provides an opportunity to connect students and academic communities with emerging technologies, innovation, experiential learning and industry-oriented programmes. The collaboration supports the broader objective of creating future-ready educational environments integrating technology, research and practical learning.

Note: NITTE’s major university entity is officially based in Mangaluru. The Bengaluru institution commonly associated with the NITTE group is Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology (NMIT). This should be named specifically in the final MoU/CoE document if NMIT is the institution intended.

4. Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru

Healthcare, Technology & Academic Association

IIMSTC is associated with Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru, creating a platform for academic engagement, healthcare innovation, technology-enabled education and interdisciplinary learning. Yenepoya’s multidisciplinary ecosystem spans medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, allied health sciences, engineering, arts and sciences, creating significant scope for IIMSTC’s healthcare and technology initiatives.

The association also forms part of the wider ecosystem around IIMSTC’s proposed Robo Park and Center of Excellence initiatives in Mangaluru, with discussions involving university leadership in September 2026.

5. Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru

Innovation & Future Technology Collaboration

The second Yenepoya entry in the original list appears to refer to the same university. It should therefore not be presented as a separate university unless IIMSTC has signed a separate MoU with a specific Yenepoya constituent institution.

The association can be presented as a broader collaboration encompassing healthcare technology, robotics, artificial intelligence, innovation, experiential learning and Center of Excellence development.

6. Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru

IIMSTC is associated with Dayananda Sagar University (DSU), Bengaluru, supporting initiatives focused on technology, innovation, student development and future-ready skills. DSU has academic schools covering engineering, computer applications, management, applied sciences, health sciences, design, humanities and law, providing a multidisciplinary environment for collaborative programmes.

IIMSTC’s 2026 i12 HR Drive & Vibe Coding Hackathon was scheduled at DSU as part of a wider innovation initiative involving leading universities and technology organisations.

IIMSTC is associated with Sapthagiri NPS University, Bengaluru, supporting initiatives in technology, innovation, engineering, healthcare and student skill development.
