Justice M. Ramakrishna
M. Ramakrishna served as the Chief Justice of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court from October 10, 1994, to June 15, His tenure as Chief Justice is recognized in the official records of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court and the Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court.
Justice M. Ramakrishna’s rulings contributed to the definition and protection of Jammu and Kashmir’s legislative autonomy within the constitutional framework extant during his time, preserving the state’s autonomous powers over legislation and elections under J&K’s special status. His judgments supported the state’s authority over legislative processes such as delimitation of constituencies and election laws, reaffirming the distinct role of J&K’s legislature from the Indian Union’s at that time. They maintained the balance where the state legislature had powers over matters except those explicitly assigned to the Union by Article 370, thus protecting J&K’s legislative autonomy.

Dr M Vijaya Kumar completed his MBBS from Madras University. Subsequently completed his DNB in Surgery from HAL hospital Bangalore . Later he obtained MCh in surgical oncology form Bangalore University.
He joined KIDWAI MEMORIAL INSTITUTE OF ONCOLOGY in 1984 and served in different capacity as resident, assistant, associate and professor till 2008. In the year 2008 he became the Director of KIDWAI MEMORIAL INSTITUTE OF ONCOLOGY AND remained as Director till 2014.
He was trained in USA , France, Brazil , United Kingdom, and Germany in various surgeries He was conferred FRCS from Royal College Of Surgeons Of Glasgow , United Kingdom in the year 2007.He was awarded honorary member of Brazil Society Of Surgical Oncology in 2015.
He has over 30 yrs of experience in Surgical Oncology and has trained more than 100 surgeons in surgical oncology, who are working all over the world today .He is one of the senior most in the country and highly regarded in India as well as abroad. He has delivered numerous lectures in international, national and state conferences. Also he has over 50 research papers. The prestigious TERRY FOX project 2001, by Terry fox run Canada was his brain child. He has presented over 60 papers in conferences all over the world and has authored chapters in 7 books.

Dr. BALAKRISHNA P SHETTY, served as Vice Chancellor, Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education (Deemed to be University) Tumkur, Karnataka, India known as one of the youngest Vice-Chancellors, He is recipient of National Merit Scholarship and DGHS Scholarship for Higher studies. Completed his Medical Education (MBBS) (1986) Kasturba Medical Radiology ( DNB) in 1990. College, Mangalore with Distinction in many subjects. Later he did his Masters degree (MD) in Radio diagnosis (1989) from the prestigious Kasturba Medical College Manipal. He was awarded the Diplomat of National Board went to USA for further studies in Radio Diagnosis. University of Texas awarded him the prestigious Pediatric Radiology Fellowship in 1994. He is one of the very few Foreign Medical Graduates to get the Fellowship in Body Imaging from Baylor College of Medicine in 1995.
In 1995 Dr Shetty was appointed as faculty Pediatric Radiology, at Children Hospital, Montréal, Canada. He is known in the International arena for developing the MR PET technology for early detection and staging of Cancer without Radiation. As an eminent Radiologist, Dr Shetty has worked in many International hospitals and Universities like Yale University Connecticut USA, Texas Children Hospital, MD Anderson Cancer Hospital, St Lukes Episcopal Hospital Houston, Hamad International Hospital, Doha, and Cleveland Clinic, USA.
Dr Shetty is involved in various Research Activities in the field of Cell Imaging and rare Muscular Dystrophy. Whole Body Cancer Imaging by MR PET, Breast cancer, Lung cancer, Ovarian Cancer, Pancreatic cancer, Renal Cancers, Uterine Fibroids, and Stem. He has many Scientific Publications for his credit. He is very well known for his guest lectures not only in India but also in USA, Malaysia and Middle East.
